Good Samaritan Auxiliary Hosts Annual Crabfest, August 17

POTTSVILLE (May 29) -- The Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center Auxiliary will hold its Annual Crabfest and Picnic on Friday, August 17, at Christy Joy Catering, Bullshead Road, Pottsville, from 6:00 - 11:00 pm.   Chairpeople for the event are Matt Dudish, Pottsville; Pat Murphy, Pottsville; and Jackie McGovern, Auburn.

The menu will include “All You Can Eat” steamed hard-shell crabs and shrimp, pulled pork barbeque, barbequed chicken, corn on the cob, and bean soup.  Beverages will include Coca-Cola, Yuengling and Miller products.  Attendees must be 21 years old.

Live music will be provided by Gamit.  Cost of the tickets is $35 per person before August 3 and $45 after that and at the gate.  All proceeds from Crabfest will benefit Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.
