Announce Definitive AGreement
Pottsville (April 2, 2008) -- The Pottsville Hospital and Warne Clinic and Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center have reached a definitive agreement for both hospitals to affiliate under a common local parent organization.
“The definitive agreement is the next step in creating an integrated health care delivery system under a common local entity to better serve the medical needs of the community and to more easily adapt to the rapidly changing healthcare delivery system,” said Sister Clarisse Correia, D.C., Chair of the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center Board of Trustees.
“The definitive agreement allows both parties to move forward and begin to obtain all the necessary approvals from regulatory agencies in the coming months,” said the Honorable Joseph F. McCloskey, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Pottsville Hospital and Warne Clinic.
