Some of our other services include:
District Justice Education Program
Through a cooperative effort with our court system, this educational program is available to all youth arrested for under age drinking and/or alcohol offenses. The program educates youth about the risk and consequences of alcohol and other drug use and strengthens decision making, communication and coping skills.
Employee Assistance Program
Through STEPS our employee assistance program evaluation, counseling, and referral can be conveniently conducted at our facility.
Highway Safety Program
The Driving Under the Influence (D.U.I.) Program provides services to those individuals arrested and adjudicated for driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. Services provided within this program include: Court Reporting Network Evaluation (CRN), Comprehensive Assessment, and Alcohol Highway Safety Classes.
Outpatient/Intensive Outpatient Counseling Services
This comprehensive program offers professional services for behavioral health concerns including substance abuse, depression, anxiety and other related issues. Services are available at the Good Samaritan Healthplex in St. Clair and at Good Samaritan Health Center North in Frackville.
Prevention Services
A wide array of preventions services are conducted at our facility to help reduce the high-risk behavior associated with alcohol and other drug use and to educate children and adults about substance use/abuse prevention and building healthier communities.
Smoking Cessation
Good Samaritan's Time to Quit Tobacco Cessation Program provides you with a detailed assessment of your tobacco use and an individualized plan to guide you in becoming tobacco-free.
The Time to Quit Program utilizes trained professionals who will work with you, your family, and your health care provider using the most effective techniques and strategies to assist you.
