Injury Care/Workman's Compensation Support
Work Related Injuries All employees injured at work will receive expert medical attention either at our IndustraMed site in St. Clair or at the Good Samaritan's Emergency Department Pottsville. IndustraMed injury care services primarily consist of sprains, strains, minor to moderate lacerations, and all other non-trauma related injuries. Ancillary testing and treatment will be ordered if necessary, and incident-based drug screenings may be performed according to company policy.
Six Medical Provider Panel Companies enrolled in our program may chose a panel of six medical providers for their employees to see within the first ninety (90) days of an injury. Any employee choosing not to see a physician on the panel will be responsible for payment of any medical expenses incurred during the first ninety days. In addition to the IndustraMed Physician, typically, an Orthopod, General Surgeon, Internist, and ophthalmologist are on the panel. If the employee is dissatisfied with the doctor, he or she may then visit another physician of his or her choice.
Workman's Compensation Follow Up After ninety (90) days, IndustraMed physicians provide follow up care after a work related injury. If necessary, the employee will be referred to a specialist stipulated by the company's Six Medical Provider Panel.
Workman's Compensation Consultation The IndustraMed Physician is available to evaluate and order necessary ancillary testing for an injured worker after treatment was received by a physician not listed on the Six Medical Provider Panel.
