Physical Therapy Programs

Functional Capacity Evaluations — Provided by a Physical Therapist, the evaluation determines an employee's ability to perform his job by assessing physical strength and endurance for both new employees and those returning to work following an injury.

Work Hardening — A program which consists of simulated work activities, such as lifting, bending, pushing and pulling, along with conditioning tasks to progressively improve muscular strength, aerobic endurance, and to tone atrophied muscles and joints for employees who are recovering from a serious injury and have suffered weeks or months of inactivity.

Back School — A one to two hour class focusing on prevention of back injuries through proper mechanics tailored to the job functions of your employees. The class includes a video, literature and a demonstration of proper lifting techniques and posture.

Ergonomic Analysis — Our Physical Therapist will do an ergonomic evaluation of each job category in your employment. They may make work station modification suggestions to assure and eliminate the possibility of musculoskeletal disorders brought on by repetitive activity in that job classification.
