Another exceptional opportunity to become involved in Good Samaritans' health ministry is through the Good Samaritan Auxiliary. The Auxiliary contributes to the livelihood of the Medical Center through fundraising events, volunteer work, and leadership of the Seton Gift Shop. Each year, the Good Samaritan Auxiliary makes a sizeable contribution to the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center to help support vital hospital programs and services. Holiday Ball Draws Festive Crowd

Over 120 guests enjoyed the spectacular decorations, delicious food and festive atmosphere at the 23rd Annual Good Samaritan Auxiliary Holiday Ball held at the Schuylkill Country Club on December 1. This year's theme was “Dancing with the Stars.” Pictured above (L-R) are Bernard Koval, Good Samaritan President/CEO; Georgia Stahl, Auxiliary President; Mohammad Akbar, MD, otolaryngologist; Roseann Mucci, RN, Surgical Services Director; and Mohamed Meeran, MD, trauma surgeon.  Proceeds from the event will benefit Surgical Services at the Medical Center.

Good Samaritan Auxiliary Hosted Annual Crabfest

The Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center Auxiliary hosted its Annual Crabfest and Picnic on Friday, August 17, at Christy Joy Catering, Pottsville.  Over 650 people attended the fundraising event that benefited the Medical Center. Chairpeople for the event are Matt Dudish, Pottsville; Pat Murphy, Pottsville; and Jackie McGovern, Auburn.
